Hagawhaw collection

This collection is entitled, 'Hagawhaw', which is the visayan word for uttered without voice or impossible to hear.

The handwoven textile designs were inspired by geometric shapes and textures seen in nature such as gradient succulents, dried leaves and tree barks with moss. Unlike bright and colourful flowers, sometimes the equally magnificent natural patterns on simpler less vibrant plants are unnoticed. This is because you have to look closer to see the details in order to appreciate its beauty. The textile patterns for this collection are meant to bring these details to life and represent spectacular naturally occurring perfect and imperfect shapes in the nature around us.
